Ulysses Diaz is a bilingual clinician whose work integrates restorative justice, somatic awareness, and mindfulness-based practices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Sociology from Northern Illinois University and his Master of Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His professional experience spans experiential therapy with youth, crisis support through suicide hotline services, and individual counseling. Rooted in indigenous practices and a restorative justice framework, Ulysses brings a deep commitment to addressing harm, conflict, and relationship building through holistic, embodied approaches.

Guided by the belief that true transformation comes from bridging the distance between head and heart, Ulysses emphasizes the importance of moving beyond information into lived action and embodied change. His therapeutic style is non-directive yet deeply engaged—walking alongside clients as an attuned observer while creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space. Drawing on somatic and archetypal frameworks, he helps individuals explore shadow work, shift root metaphors, and recenter the body, mind, and felt sense as part of their healing process. Ulysses is particularly drawn to working with those navigating crises, spiritual emergence, or moments of profound transition, and he views therapy as a path to genuine transformation and empowerment.
