Preeti is an integrative, trauma-informed therapist committed to attending to the wholeness of those she supports. Her work honors the interconnected nature of healing, weaving narrative therapy and evidence-based practice with healing traditions from her Indian lineage. These include Ayurveda, pranayama, chakra science, and mindfulness. While Preeti enjoys working with a range of clients, she centers those who have marginalized and under-served, particularly immigrant and first-generation clients, Asians, elders, and LGBTQIA+ community members. She additionally specializes in support of those experiencing transitions around menopause.

Preeti has great reverence for the earth-based medicines that have been instrumental in her own healing of depression and intergenerational trauma. She is the founder of the Asian Psychedelic Collective, the first nonprofit of belonging for Asians working with psychedelics; was a member of Fireside Project’s only equity cohort; and—as part of the justice and diversity working group at the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association—helped review, edit, and write their psychedelic practitioner guidelines. In 2022, she was cited as by DoubleBlind magazine as one of the “Influential, Innovative, and Disruptive Women in Psychedelics.”

Preeti holds a Master of Science in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology and is accredited through the EMCC. She additionally holds an MBA focused on sustainable management and values-centered leadership and has been awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. Preeti trained in trauma-informed care through Harvard Medical School and has both trained, and taught, in multiple psychedelic facilitator training programs with practicums in ketamine, psilocybin, MDMA, and microdosing. Preeti is certified in Yoga Nidra, Ayurvedic coaching, and Advanced Pranayama practice and draws on her past work as a storyteller, birth doula, yoga teacher, and 25+ year student of Vipassana meditation to support her clients in accessing their innate healing wisdom and capacity for flourishing.
