Jennifer McShea
LGPC
Jennifer is a transpersonal therapist who approaches healing holistically through the lens of body, mind, and spirit. She believes that transformation comes from addressing the root cause of symptoms, allowing for liberation from habitual patterns. Emotionally focused, body-centered, and heart-guided, she intuitively supports clients in deepening self-awareness by accessing personal insight through attunement to inner wisdom, discovery of unconscious realms and experiences of compassion and unity.
Integrating trauma-sensitive approaches informed by Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Applied Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Jennifer provides a nonjudgmental, inclusive environment for adults from diverse backgrounds dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, and impacts of trauma. By fostering a grounded sense of safety, Jennifer promotes self-expression and embodiment through various creative and somatic approaches. She emphasizes mindfulness practices and parts-work to support nervous system regulation and emotional processing.
Jennifer is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with specialized training in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and Psychedelic Integration. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and has obtained her KAP certification through the Ketamine Training Center. Additionally, Jennifer draws on her extensive experience in spiritual apprenticeship and training in subtle-energy healing to hold space for deep, integrative healing.
Jennifer sees clients at our Baltimore location and via telehealth.
